I’m 20 years old, born and bred in Whaley Bridge, closely tied into the community, and a proud Labour member since age 16.
I’m standing now because I want to give you, the people – especially younger members of the community – a voice and representation.
I want to encourage more young adults to get involved in the environment they live in and help them to positively contribute to their area.
I’m involved in the Patient Participation Group at Goyt Valley Medical Practice, I’ve helped out at the local kickboxing club and, when not studying, helped coach children’s classes.
I’m also involved in the Whaley Bridge Matters group. I would work to tackle local issues including disability access to local amenities, and social activities for young people.
